Does Philly Love me Back?

So, I am traveling from the Left Coast to the East coast this week for a family funeral.  I wear the #glass as often as I can.  The response is varied.  One young person exclaimed,"They're REAL?!?!?!?!" That was fun.  Her Mom tried them on and we talked about them for several minutes. Her Mom took this photo with the #Glass.

If You Were a Pane of Glass I Could See Through You

Turns out it is a PAIN OF GLASS

Super exciting.  Super frustrating.  I was so excited at the pick-up.  My person when over a lot of information with me.  We quickly and easily connected to the wireless at the venue and were off and running. It took S E C O N D S

Now I am home.  40 minutes into the joy sucking adventure, I CANNOT connect to the home wireless;  I CANNOT connect to the wireless coming off of my phone.  While there may be some unknown issue coming off the phone, there is certainly no issue with the wireless at the house.  Pretty frustrating.  If I cozy on up to one more QR code I might have to scream!!!!!

On the up side.  The UNU charger I already own can also charge the #Glass.  That's handy because after my introduction session Glass was dead.  After a charge on the car 40 minute car ride the Glass was back up to 85%.  I find that quite acceptable.

Off eyeball my 7th QR code.  Absolutely there could have been some password or typing error once or twice.  It's sad to think I've done it 7 times . . .

Rooting?? The phone, not a plant.

Data Plan

So, I am learning that I need a bigger data plan if I am going to have Glass.  Sad face.  While I am technologically savvy I am not quite programer material.  Root or pay more for a larger data plan?????

Coincidentally, I was recently researching rooting the phone so I can alter the storage location of apps and things from the handset to the SD card.  Literally, as I was researching that information I got a note about rooting the phone to facilitate bluetooth tethering required by the glass without UPGRADING the data plan.   I am with AT&T, I have a Samsung Galaxy III.  I have been following a link on G+ Glass Explorers that has been helpful.  Yet, I am a little hesitant to make the jump for fear of screwing up the phone.

Usurp the Data Plan

This website galaxys4root.com  has been recommended twice and the videos are clear and easy to understand . . . not . . . willing . . . to  . . . take . . . leap . . .   Ulitimately, when I am feeling brave this is where I will go.  I had better get willing to commit pretty soon as I my appointment is on THURSDAY!!!!!

I made my appointment to pick up my #glass.  Pick up is scheduled for next week!  I am super excited! Trying to figure out how to utilize my glass for something significant.  +TriciaCerone
